The name comes from Bingo Bango Bongo, a popular on-course betting game played among friends. 'Bongo' is the best possible score in the game — a nod to our goal of being among the best in the mobile simulator rental space.

How much space do I need for the golf simulator setup?

We recommend a space roughly 12 feet wide by 16 feet deep with 9.5 feet of ceiling clearance. The simulator enclosure itself is 10 feet wide by 5 feet deep — extra space ensures safe play, equipment placement, and room for spectators. We always provide a free consultation of your space ahead of the event.

Do you need to modify my space to install the equipment?

No. Bongo Golf is a completely turnkey, mobile setup. We do not drill into walls or ceilings — we only need the recommended 20'x20' floor space to operate.

What if I have never played a golf simulator before?

No experience needed. Every Bongo Golf event is staffed by a dedicated caddie who coaches guests through gameplay. The setup is very easy to use.

What if my guests have never played golf before?

All ages and skill levels are welcome. Every Bongo Golf event includes a dedicated caddie who ensures safe, inclusive, and fun gameplay for everyone — beginners to experienced golfers.

Are there restrictions on party size?

No. Many of our gameplay options accommodate unlimited party sizes. We will recommend the best format based on your event size and goals.

What types of games can guests play on the golf simulator?

We offer many gameplay options including: long drive and closest-to-pin competitions (best for large or transient crowds, ~5 minutes per player); team match play in 3, 6, or 9-hole formats (best for groups of 4–16, 30–75 minutes per player); and target practice or open range sessions (great for kids and adults, 10–20 minutes per player).

Do you supply the golf equipment?

Yes, all equipment is included free of charge. We provide full sets of right-handed and left-handed clubs sized for adults and children, plus balls and accessories. No rentals are required.

Do I need to provide power or Wi-Fi?

No. Bongo Golf is a completely turnkey setup. We bring our own portable battery power station and Wi-Fi to every event.

What simulator equipment does Bongo Golf use?

Every Bongo Golf event is powered by Square Golf, SkyTrak, or Flightscope Mevo Gen2 launch monitors. We use 4K GSPro software, a premium projector, and a premium gaming computer for immersive gameplay.

What areas does Bongo Golf serve?

Bongo Golf serves Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire — anywhere within approximately 2 hours of Boston.

How much does a Bongo Golf event cost?

Bongo Golf events start at $250 per hour with a 3-hour minimum booking. Pop-up events for retailers are typically free — get in touch to discuss your event.

Can the golf simulator be set up outdoors?

Yes. Bongo Golf runs events indoors and outdoors, weather permitting. Our turnkey setup includes its own power source, making outdoor events fully supported.
